These two remotes arrived safely and on testing the non display remote was found to be functioning as normal.

The remote with the display was found to have a faulty battery voltage regulator which meant that the display would show a low battery indicator and have a weak RF signal.  The regulator and battery cable were both replaced which restored full functionality.
