Westin Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : the unit was dropped and now not working

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This hob remote arrive safely and on inspection was found to have a missing battery cover, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.

On opening the PCB was found to be incorrectly aligned and the mounting pin for the PCB was broken.  The PCB was hot glued in correctly but then it was found that the center power button was intermittent.  A replacement button was fitted which restored full functionality (see image)
