Westin Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Westin
Customers Fault Description : Remote control is not working. Fitted new battery and it temporarily worked but then stopped again. Think battery is not connecting properly?

This remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
When opening the negative terminal was found to have a large amount of contamination / corrosion due to a battery leak (see image), the terminal was etched clean which restored full functionality.
