Velux Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Velux

Customers Fault Description : 1st - New batteries inserted but it doesn’t not respond, not even with cable 2nd - New batteries inserted but it doesn’t respond. However it does when plugged in and I was able to use it. As soon as I unplug it it goes dead again

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

These window remotes arrived safely from Denmark and on testing one was totally dead, and one would only power up from the USB connection.

The remote that would only power up from a USB was found to have corroded battery terminals, the terminal block was replaced which restored full functionality.

The other remote was found to have a faulty main board, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.  Please note that you will need to re-setup this remote with the window.
