E-go purple line Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : E-go purple line

Customers Fault Description : The remote can turn on but won’t turn off and batteries have to be removed to turn off. The handset emits random beeps when turned on but won’t operate the mover on the caravan. We noticed that the wire coil which seats the middle battery seems to be out of line and wondered if this could be a problem.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to power up as normal using the double power button press and then power down with a single power button press.

All buttons were tested and confirmed to be sending a strong RF signal on each button press.

The beeps from the remote indicate the power on is working and the remote does switch off after a short time when no buttons are pressed as per normal operation.

This remote is classed as no fault found.  It is possible that the customer was unaware that the power button must be pressed twice in order to turn the remote on properly (pressing it once will just illuminate the green light and eventually will beep and turn on, if you press it once and then press it again expecting it to turn the remote off this will not be the case)
