City Sports WP3 Walking pad Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : It does not seem to work with new batteries put in. I cannot find another that works as they have to be synced to the machine so am hoping if I can fix this remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Walking Pad / Treadmill remote control arrived safely and on inspection the two battery terminals were found to be tangled. This is most likely from incorrect battery insertion.
The terminals were reworked which restored full functionality.
Please note that this remote states that the battery should be a CR2450 this is incorrect and requires a CR2032. The label also states that the remote is IR (Infra red) but it is actually RF (Radio Frequency)
A battery will be supplied fitted on return.
