Customer's Fault Description
When the switch is turned on the flashing light does not always work. If I then rotate the batteries a bit it starts to work OK and connects to the mover. It is therefore very temperamental and cannot be trusted to work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead. On opening the internal switch was found to have a broken shaft (see image). The switch was replaced which restored full functionality.
