powertouch Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : powertouch
Customers Fault Description : remote lights come on sometimes but mostly not put new duracell batterys in but still the same problem with both of them when they do work the contact with the movers is very week.we have a brand new battery on the van.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two remotes arrived afely and on testing both would intermittently respond to their twin power button presses. This was due to worn button contacts.
Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored the power on functionality.
One of the remotes was found to have a very weak signal, unfortunately this was due to a faulty smd IC which has made a repair not possible.
The payment on this page is for the repair to one of the remotes plus postage.
