Motocaddy Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Motocaddy
Customers Fault Description : The remote stopped controlling the trolley in the middle of a round last week and showed a permanent red light at the top right hand side of the face of the unit. Next time I tried to use the remote no lights showed on the face at all no matter what button or combination of buttons I pressed. The unit seems to recharge ok - i.e. the blue light next to the connection comes on and then goes out after a period of time.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This S7 remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to function as normal. The remote was tested at random intervals with no fault being replicated.
It is assumed that maybe the facia was damp inside causing issues and over time this has dried and rectified itself. Obviously as we cannot replicated a fault this is the best guess.
