Customer's Fault Description
Hi, the ABK SEAV TXS 4 Remote control extraction fan is not working for my home. If you have a new one for me to purchase, or if you can fix it. The fan is working well as I tested it with my neighbour's remote control.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This extraction fan remote control arrived safely and on inspection one of the button caps was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was dead and two of the buttons were corroded. All 4 buttons were replaced and a break in the print reworked, this restored full functionality. A button with a slightly longer shaft was fitted in place where the button cap is missing.
