Dropped on floor came apart
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This In wall fire place remoet control arrived safely and on inspection was held badly together with tape.  The fixing screw was missing and the retaining clips were all broke.

The remote was cleaned up and re assembled usign a replacement screw and glue in place of the broken clips.

The battery that was in the remote was also found to be the wrong size (a CR2025 instead of a CR2032).  The correct battery was fitted, full functionality was restored.
