Gas engineer says fire is good but fault with remote control

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal on both the up and down channel (see images). The remote was opened to check for intermittent defects, but no issue could be replicated.
The issue is thought to be with the receiver itself, this remote has been classed as no fault found.
