Brake Tester Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : buttons not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived from a customer who ordered the wrong clone remote control from our remote shop site (this remote is actually radio frequency and NOT infra-red and is different in visual appearance), on testing the remote was found to have some nonfunctioning buttons. This was due to contaminated PCB and worn button contacts.
The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under the effected buttons.
The remote now illuminate and send a strong RF signal on every button press as per normal operation.
The payment for the clone has covered the repair in this case.
