Following a battery leak, the remote control has stopped working
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Climapro remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was found to be due to a impacted and corroded battery terminal.

The terminal was etched clean and bend back into place and then reinforced using solder inside the fold.  When the batteries were reinserted the power was restored.
