Customer's Fault Description
The button on G30-ZRHSO to increase flame the fire illuminates and works and the receiver (G30-ZRRS) illuminates. The button on G30-ZRHSO to decrease the fire flame illuminates but the receiver (G30-ZRRS) does not illuminate and the fire will not turn down
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was found to have a channel missing.
This was initially thought to be due to a faulty 40khz crystal, this was replaced which restored functionality but then the fault returned after a few hours.
Eventually after a few attempts the fault was found to be due to a faulty IC which was replaced, the items were then tested for a 5 day period without further issues.
