Yamaha RAV253 Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Yamaha

Model : RAV253

Customers Fault Description : Some buttons work OK (input selection CD DVD DTV/CBL), some are intermittent (volume control) and others don't work at all (standby,AMP, Menu).

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Yamaha remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have various sluggish / non responsive buttons.

This was due to worn conductive pads.  Replacement conductive pads were fitted n the effected buttons which restored full functionality.

Please note that the TV function buttons are not programmed and therefore will not produce a response / signal.
