Customer's Fault Description
Doesn't work at all. Initially the 'off' button failed, it had to be pressed several times/with force to turn the fire off. Now the 'on' button isn't working either. The remote has seen better days (we inherited it when we bought the house) and the battery compartment door doesn't close - usually it's taped shut so the battery doesn't fall out.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This heater controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was found to be broken (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
On testing the buttons were found to be sluggish / non responsive.
All four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
