Customer's Fault Description
The remote should control off/on and heat levels 1 and 2.However, it does so intermittently. Sometimes it will switch on, but not off. Sometimes it won't switch on, etc. Possibly a lose connection somewhere?
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Dimplex remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have no button response.
On opening this was found to be due to contamination over the button array (see image).
The PCB and button pads were cleaned up thoroughly which restored full functionality.
