Customer's Fault Description
Transmitter enclosed intermittent operation. Observation it appears to work when it’s warmed up. Spoke to you on phone Thursday approx. 1457hrs
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as per normal operation. After talking with the customer it was decided to replace the crystals and transducer as the handset was apparently prone to working after it was heated up. This was carried out but when opening there was some contamination over one of the ICs (see image) which could also have been a culprit. This was cleaned up.
