Customer's Fault Description
Amp Power button (red button on top right corner) only works after at least 20 seconds of pressure. Other buttons seem to work ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Marantz remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a faulty "Amp Power" button.  On opening this was due to the conductive contacts being worn and "sweating" onto the main PCB (see image).

The PCB was cleaned up and replacement button caps fitted on the amp and also volume buttons which restored full functionality.
