ID8 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : ID8
Customers Fault Description : Activity LED is on permanently when batteries are inserted.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Fan controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery terminals had signs of a battery leak.
When tested the control was confirmed to be transmitting without a button being pressed.
When opened the issue was found to be corrosion / contamination over the button array from the battery leak, this was all cleaned up and the terminal replaced which restored functionality.
