Customer's Fault Description
Cannot power up the controller. Screen is blank. Previously batteries were getting drained very quickly and remote powering down. Batteries do not sit in the compartment very well. It can be difficult to close the compartment.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This climapro control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to a loose connecting screen ribbon cable. This was reseated correctly which restored normal functionality.
The battery compartment is "awkward" to put batteries in, this is actually normal and the way these items are made making inserting batteries awkward, there is nothing that can be done about this as its the way they were manufactured.
