I put in a new battery hoping that woudl make it work -but it doesn't! NO infra red visble when viewed with camera

This Sound bar controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to transmit a signal on any button press.
When opened the issue was found to be due to a faulty terminal. One of the terminals was bent out of position meaning the battery was not touching it.
This was bent back into place and reinforced using solder. This restored full functionality.
