Some buttons not operational including on/ standby, volume, muting and receiver

This Onkyo handset arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have various non functioning / sluggish buttons.

On opening the issue was found to be due to decomposing button contacts, replacement button caps were glues into place on the bad buttons which restored full functionality.
