cannot switch shower on or off or power up no buttons work. have used for over a year by turning it on using one of the fan buttons and turning off without the on off button. thought battery had run out, ( have had problems in the past replacing the battery but can't get it to work at all now ................... green power light on the dryer unit is on
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This body dryer remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a partially removed facia which had the usual cracks around the button pads. All the fixing screws were missing and one of the retaining lugs of the battery cover was missing.
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead. This was due to corrosion spots in the print which was causing many open circuits, the print was reworked which restored full functionality. Replacement button caps were fitted under the original facia and the battery cover was taped into place, these items cannot be replaced as they are not available as spares and don't effect functionality.
