Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace receivers and remote control arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be working as per normal but the receivers were found to be at fault..
Both receivers had signs of battery leakage / contamination. The battery blocks in both were replaced which restored functionality to one of the receivers. The other receiver was found to have a permanent 6 volt output even when a button is not pressed.
This was due to a faulty regulator, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
