Customer's Fault Description
No infra-red signal from remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This electric fire remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the PCB was found to high a warp in it, this had sadly broken connections to the main IC. This IC is encapsulated under black resin which unfortunately makes a repair not possible.
We do however have clones of this remote available. These are priced at the same price of a repair (£20 plus postage) £26
A clone was supplied to the customer.
