Customer's Fault Description
Non functional chenged batteries but screen blank.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Sony remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.
On opening the control revealed that the display was faulty (see image), there was a leak in the top right corner, this is hidden when the PCB is in situe in the control. This display is not available as a spare meaning a repair is not possible.
A quick google search was carried out and a replacement remote can be found here!
