Customer's Fault Description
The remote does not activate the fireplace unless you place the remote 1/2 inch from receiver. Even then it is intermittent
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely from the United States and on testing the remote itself was found not to be transmitting. This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote. This was replaced which restored full functionality.
No fault could be found with the receiver.
