Down button faulty
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was held on with tape (this cover cannot be replaced due to lack of spares meaning it still needs holding on with tape).
On testing the control was found to have a poor responding down button. When opened this was found to be due to contamination over the button contacts (see image). The button was replaced and the contamination cleaned up which restored full functionality.
