Customer's Fault Description
On button does not work consistently. It tends to flash briefly. If you manage to switch the fire on you may not be able to turn it off (so you have to turn off the gas supply).
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing the button response was erratic.
This was eventually pinpointed to be due to a faulty regulator. This regulator was replaced which restored full functionality.
