Customer's Fault Description
Just died on me, does not do anything. It controls multiple stereo component units, but does not work with any. It has not been physically damaged that I can see.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrive safely and on inspection was missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available).
On testing the remote was confirmed dead. This was due to a corroded PCB terminal connection (see image), the connection was reworked which restored full functionality.
