Customer's Fault Description
stopped working.
changed battery. one wire came off terminal. tried soldering.still doesn't work, ? improper soldering ? other fault.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a faulty battery cable, this was replaced which restored power but it was then found that no signal was being transmitted.
Eventually it was concluded that the issue was with a tuner coil which sadly cannot be replaced and adjusted remotely meaning a repair is not possible.
If the customer has another remote it is possible to "clone" the workingremote as a backup.
We dont sell the clones ourselves but they can be found here (please note that you will need a working original remote in order to clone it)
