Customer's Fault Description
No power in remote. Remote was not dropped. This happened sporadically leading up to total failure and wiggling batteries restored power. Changed batteries many times. Used foil to test whether batteries needed tighter fit and whether connection plate had moved over time. Still no power.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Glowworm remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have an intermittent power issue, this was found to be due to a terminal issues whereby the terminals had impacted making a solid connection not possible. The terminals were bend back into place and reinforce using solder. The back plate of the terminals were also reinforced using hot glue.
