Customer's Fault Description
There is a small crack in circuit board?
The Remote will not work, can you Help?
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a couple of cracks through the print, it also had glue over the cracks.
The glue was removed as much as could be which caused further damage to the print itself and sadly it was found that the crack was going to the main IC which his encased under resin. Due to the inaccessibility to the IC and surrounding print a repair is not possible. This led to a replacement PCB being fitted which restored full functionality.
