Customer's Fault Description
Managed to get the remote to light the fire but the wires need soldering/replacing. Not sure if all the buttons work

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was held on with tape (this cant be replaced as they are not available as spares).

The battery cable and all four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
