Customer's Fault Description
Receiver red light flashing intermittently (not staying lit)when asked by remote to turn up or down without success. Batteries changed and contacts checked.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This receiver arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a badly contaminated battery block from a battery leakage (see images).  The battery block was replaced which restored full functionality.
