Customer's Fault Description
Will not longer connect to machine. A separate universal remote works fine, so it is the remote at fault. I (obviously) tried changing the batteries to no effect
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Wadia remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal operation.
After a short while the control suddenly stopped working and the voltage dropped from 4.5 to 0.7. Eventually this was traced back to the IR led which was intermittently shorting. A replacement LED was fitted which restored full functionality.
