PDTKF04433RC Remote Control Repair

This garage controller arrived safely and on testing had erratic response from its button presses. 

On opening there was contamination shorting pins on the main ic and also there was a small amount of contamination over the button pads.  All contaminants were removed by giving the PCB an alcohol soak.  Once retested the control would respond with a good strong signal on each button press.

Please note that as this item has been through a washing machine and the pins were shorted it might be required to pair the control up with the receiver upon return as it may have lost its "memory", this is something that we cannot do remotely as it needs to be in the vicinity of the receiver.  Please test it first and hopefully it wont need pairing.
