Customer's Fault Description
It has been flashing the battery low light for months despite us changing both the handset and reviver batteries. The battery connection wire has become disconnected but even with a patch job it is not turning the fire on, off nor up and down. Essentially it is useless. I have tested it by unsyncing and resyncing it with the receiver but no change.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a erroneous battery indicator and erratic function. This was due to a faulty 7133 regulator, this was replaced as well as a new battery cable fitted which restored normal functionality.
