Handset no longer working. When battery inserted clock starts and continues irrespective of what buttons pressed.

Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Ireland and on testing was confirmed to be increasing the time without a button being pressed.
This was due to a resistance in the buttons, all buttons were replaced as well as the battery cable which restored full functionality.
