Customer's Fault Description
Device fell on the floor resulting in it being completely dead. Change of batteries didnt resolve anything
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fireplace controller arrived safely from the Netherlands and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
On testing the control was confirmed to be dead. This was due to the usual components falling off the PCB after a hard fall. The missing components were replaced which restored full functionality.
