REMOTE NOT WORKING
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two remotes arrived safely and on inspection the bed control was in pieces and missing its battery cover (the battery cover cannot be replaced as they are not available as spares).
On testing the remote was found to be dead. This was due to a SMD diode being shorted. This was replaced which restored full functionality.
Th Dimplex remote was found to have a hole in its battery cover and also the terminals were bent back out of shape making a power connection not possible. The terminals were cleaned and bent back into place which restored full functionality (this was done without charge as it was such a quick repair).
