Customer's Fault Description
Remote seems to work but not communicating with the receiver. Changed batteries in both units.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the receiver was missing its battery cover.
On testing the remote itself was found not to be transmitting, the transducer in the handset was replaced which restored full functionality.
No fault could be found with the receiver.
