Customer's Fault Description
Remote has had replacement battery, display still shows but is not working as a remote to control flame strength of fire. Was working until few days ago. I replaced battery and noticed a loose connection between black wire so this was soldered. But still not communicating with fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This control arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a re-soldered battery cable. On testing the control was found to be transmitting as per normal operation. It would appear that the issue may be with the receiver itself. This has been classed as "no fault found"
