Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Goodmans remote arrived safely and on adding batteries was found to be transmitting permanently without a button being pressed.

On opening this was confirmed to be due to contamination over various parts of the PCB.  The board was cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality.

Please note that any battery that was previously in this control will most likely be dead as it will have been transmitting all the time essentially draining the power.
