Bose Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Bose

Customers Fault Description : None of the functions work on the remote - except in one particular spot in the room (about 3 metres away from the base unit and to the side). I opened it up and cleaned it and it started working again but now it's not.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Bose controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal operation.  The control was opened to check for defects but no fault could be replicated.  The signal strength was tested and found to be as normal.

The control was then tested over a couple of days at random intervals and again a fault could not be replicated.

This has classed this item as no fault found. It is recommended to ensure that brand new quality batteries used on return to eliminate the possibility of a poor power source.  Failing that it may be an issue with the receiver itself.
