the red power button will not fire up
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Marantz remote arrived safely and on inspection the sides of the control had bad scuff marks from an attempted opening prior to arrival.
On testing the entire remote was found to be dead. When opened this was due to breaks in the print around the edge caused by the attempted opening by the customer (see images), the print was reworked which restored functionality but some buttons were then found to be non responsive (which was most likely the original fault).
The non responsive buttons were worn due to use, replacement conductive caps were fitted which restored full functionality to all buttons.
