Customer's Fault Description
It simply doesn't work anymore. I tried brand new batteries and it still doesn't work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Sony controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning on each button except the volume down button.
On opening there was some sticky contamination over the PCB around the volume buttons. This was cleaned up but the Vol- still didnt function. A replacement conductive cap was fitted on both the Vol+ and Vol- buttons which restored normal functionality.
