Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Willowbrook remote arrived safely and on inspection the cable was found to be continuous in conductivity on all wires.
The conductivity of the button array was tested and no issue could be found and finally a component test was carried out but again no issue could be found.
It could be possible that there is an intermittent break in the cable but without reading an error a repair could be fruitless (the wire was stress tested with no issues found). The common issue on these controls is that the wires break internally at the remote end, we then cut back the cable back by a couple of inches and re-solder the wire directly to the PCB but as we cannot read a fault this has not been carried out.
